
How it all started
Ian remembers giving his first presentation for the Bury Jazz Society in England in 1977. Now, after many hundreds of presentations on a variety of subjects, he still gets the same pleasure in entertaining his audience.

About Ian Tiele/British-American Presentations:
British-American Presentations is operated and run by Ian Tiele. Ian is British and a native of Manchester, England. He moved to Brookfield in 2002. He has dual British and US citizenship and he is proud of both these countries. Ian is married to Loretta who is his sounding board. Having designed and performed several hundred jazz music presentations since the late 1970s, he expanded has his work in recent years to include other subjects that often encapsulate television, movie and popular music themes. All Ian’s presentations are designed from scratch and involve many hours of research.
Presentations are flexible and generally run between 80 and 100 minutes depending on the requirements of the venue. Where a longer presentation is required, Ian can provide offerings of two plus hours. For most presentations, timing of around 90 minutes is recommended. For longer shows, there will usually be a 10 minute break to allow the audience a bathroom break.
